Short Biography
Elli Lestas, born in London. Studied Textile Design at Camberwell College of Art, MA Fine Art at Goldsmith's and worked as a lecturer of Textiles at the London College of Fashion. Lives and works in Cyprus and England.
All areas of my work have nature as the key subject. Drawing, painting, photography and natural materials found in nature. I work with seeds, and natural matter which I adorn with yarns, I collaborate with nature and modify objects.
The recent abstact work is converting Bird songs into a visual form.
